The Women’s Interfaith Institute in the Berkshires is a non-profit organization founded in 1992 under the leadership of Rev. Allison Stokes for clergy women and lay religious leaders. Since its founding, the Institute has broadened its membership to welcome women of different faiths and diverse backgrounds. WII is dedicated to promoting understanding, cooperation, peace, and women’s leadership.
We provide the impetus for a wide variety of interfaith activities through which women of spirit can express their beliefs, form a community for action, and find loving support, energy, and an abundance of innovative ideas.
We are committed to pluralism and diversity in all our gatherings, celebrations, seminars, workshops, retreats and conferences.
