Inviting Emotional Freedom
Oct 14, 2008
Church on the Hill Chapel - Lenox, MA
Given the turmoil in our financial and political world today, each individual might assess what she can do to forward peace and stability.
- We need strong leadership.
- We need energy to forward positive actions.
- We need strength to help ourselves and the nation through these times of trouble.
In order to do that, we need our focus and personal energy. One of the ways to make sure all possible energy is available to us, is to heal those issues that sap our energy. Energy drains are things like guilt, frustration, phobias, anxiety, fear, anger, grief. These emotions are natural, however they frequently drain our energy so that it is not available to be the warriors for peace and light that we can be.
Carol Ramsey, an experienced Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner will present an overview and demonstration of this easily learned, self-applied, "psychological acupressure" technique. You tap on specific acupressure points while thinking of what you desire to heal. EFT is capable of producing rapid and effective changes in emotional responding by acting on the body's energy system. EFT is used successfully on such issues or conditions as anxiety, stress, fears and phobias, negativity, obsessive thoughts, impaired sport performance, aftermath of abuse and trauma, physical symptoms and pain, addictions, unwanted habits and even everyday irritations. Healing is self directed and self paced. The results are typically long-lasting or permanent. Originated by Gary Craig you can find more information at http://www.emofree.com.
Reverend Carol Ramsey, LCSW, M.Ed. is an EFT practitioner located in Western Massachusetts providing workshops and private sessions. Carol brings to EFT years of experience in traditional and "alternative" counseling and healing techniques. Her intuitive style assists in choosing the gentlest, most effective style to use for each issue presented. As an ordained Interfaith Minister she is also able to offer spiritual interpretation where appropriate.
